Our Winter 2024 application and recruitment event details will be available the start of January so be sure to stay on the look out for more information!

WINTERFEST

Winterfest is a time for all UofM clubs to meet with students and talk about their student organizations. Propel will be holding at the event so come by and talk to current members about the club’s mission, member experiences, and Winter 2024 recruiting timeline at a high level.

BBA MEET THE CLUBS

BBA Meet the Clubs is a great opportunity to hear a general overview of what we do as a club, meet club members, and learn about how we envision moving forward this semester. Propel will hold a virtual booth in the Industries Sector, we hope to see you there!

Come to our info session for an in-depth overview of Propel. We'll share information about our experiences, past projects, socials, and all the opportunities you'll have at Propel as well as an overview of our recruiting timeline. After we review applications, select applicants will be invited to our Meet and Greet. This is an opportunity for you to get to know Propel members at a fun and relaxing event before the Interview

INTERVIEWS *INVITE ONLY

After we review applications, select applicants will be invited to interview with current Propel members. These interviews are each 30 minutes long. They are a time to let current members know who you are, why you’re interested in Propel, what you hope to accomplish through and bring to the Propel community.

Be yourself, tell your truth, and you’ll crush it :)

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • Our recruitment process involves an application and one round of interviews. More information will be given at our recruitment events leading up to the application deadline. All undergraduate students, from any school, are invited to apply!

  • No. At Propel, we pride ourselves on the diversity of background, experience, and interests of our members. We encourage all those with interests in positive business impact through consulting and entrepreneurial venture work to apply and welcome all those that hope to add to our community.

  • Propel looks for students who demonstrate a passion for positive social impact, strong leadership and communication skills, community engagement, humility, and a clear dedication to learning and growing as a team. We use our application and interviews as a way to get to know our applicants better. If you have any lasting questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us!

  • While we do not ask for your resume in our application, we will ask you to share one after. We will share more information about what to prepare for our interview after your application.

    There is no need to bring a resume to any open events.

  • Come to our recruitment events to learn more about our community, and be yourself! Coming prepared with a few questions, personal or professional, will help you gain more from our recruitment events and ultimately shape your own experience.

    Understand about what makes Propel unique and why you specifically want to join our community. Remember, this is also your opportunity to learn which clubs fits you best as well.

    Additional Tips:

    1. Don’t tell us what you think we want to hear; we want to get to know you!

    2. Express personal & intellectual creativity.

    3. Have ambition to pursue positive business and social impact work; no need for a ton of knowledge on it!

    4. Demonstrate passion and commitment to Propel’s mission and goals.
